Chapter 5

The bed shifted and, before she could process the sounds, a blast of cold air hit her back. For a fraction of a second, Kaia felt a spurt of fear, but then a strong, warm hand slid over her stomach. “Diesel,” she whispered, smiling in her half-sleep state as she snuggled back against his warmth.

“You’re overdressed,” he commented, kissing her neck.

“What are you doing here?” she asked, but didn’t really care. Her hand covered his, pulling his hand higher so that he was cupping her breast.

“We decided that you needed to be protected. I volunteered for the job.” He nibbled at her neck. “Any objections?”

She giggled, pressing her butt against his groin, noticing that he was fully erect and delightfully naked. “I’m not sure that this is what James had in mind.”

“He didn’t argue.” More nibbling on her neck as his fingers tweaked her nipple. Kaia gasped, her back arching, which pressed her butt more firmly against that glorious erection.

“James will never know.”

Diesel didn’t correct her as his hand moved to her other breast, tweaking the hard peak. Over and over, his thumb and forefinger squeezed and released while his mouth nibbled and sucked and licked until Kaia couldn’t take the stimulation any longer. Her hand slapped over his, stopping him. But Diesel wasn’t to be stopped. His hands continued to tweak her nipple until…!

“Diesel!” she screamed, her body splintering apart as a climax washed over her. It was sweet and wonderful and completely unexpected!

Breathing hard, she looked over her shoulder at Diesel. She couldn’t see him very well in the darkness, but she could feel his body literally throbbing with desire.

“That has never happened,” she told him.

His response was to soothe his hand over her stomach. At least, she suspected that he meant for it to be soothing. But the sparks continued, reigniting her body and Kaia turned so that she was facing him. “Can I…?”

“No,” he replied, pressing her flat so that he was looming over her. His knee nudged hers and Kaia wrapped her legs around his waist. “You’re wearing too many clothes.” Pulling back, he tugged her panties off, tossing them into the darkness. A moment later, her tee-shirt disappeared as well, then he leaned forward, kissing her as she reveled in the sensation of her bare breasts brushing against his hard chest. She shifted, needing to rub her nipples against the rough hair, but the stimulation wasn’t enough.
